Cho Seung-hui told us why he did it…

…and still, Virginia Tech clinical psychologist Dr Ellie Sturgess, has no clue why, totally misses his very clear point and gets it entirely wrong.
She starts off well, stating that, “[The video] has provided some explanation for the horror”. Then she goes all to hell in a handbasket – “to see [the shootings] as the act of a madman has made more sense and helped [people] understand that it wasn’t just a random event”.
Of course it wasn’t a random event! His video makes it clear that it wasn’t a random event. He was an outcast, he felt ostracised, marginalised, bullied, mocked, ridiculed and he hated the people whom he believed did that to him. Had he been a madman, he wouldn’t have been able to function at Virginia Tech.
Learn something from this. Don’t dismiss his acts as those of a raving lunatic with nothing to teach us. Maybe dismissing him as a madman relieves people of any guilt for the way they may have treated him, but it does nothing to help prevent other outcasts from emulating him.
And that’s what we want isn’t it?

Images of Virginia Tech shootings
What a tragedy, what a waste of young lives.
The father of victim Erin Peterson, an 18 year old freshman said: “My baby didn’t make it.” The parents of 32 other victims will be saying the same. God knows what the killer’s parents, victims too, will be thinking.
This is a very sad day.
Stupidity
April 11, 2007
It’s proliferation, extent and variety never cease to amaze me.
I just had my entire letterbox destroyed by a TWAT delivering the new telephone directory.
Instead of ringing the bell and saying “the phonebook appears to be too large to fit through your letterbox”, or whatever it is stupid people say, he just pushed and pushed and forced it until the letterbox broke right off the door and the draught excluders snapped off.
WTF is wrong with these IDIOTS?
RRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr………..
